Dr. Mitch Blacker Honored for Providing Dental Care to Kansas City Veterans

Blacker Family Dental is proud to highlight the incredible work of Dr. Mitch Blacker, who was recently recognized by KCUR for his ongoing efforts to support Kansas City’s veteran community. As part of a local initiative connecting private practice dentists with veterans who don’t qualify for VA dental benefits, Dr. Blacker volunteers his time and services to ensure that those who served our country can still access high-quality dental care.

Many veterans fall into a coverage gap when it comes to dental services, often earning too much to qualify for assistance through the VA, but not enough to afford care out-of-pocket. Dr. Blacker works closely with a Kansas City nonprofit and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to fill that gap, providing much-needed cleanings, exams, and treatments entirely free of charge to local veterans in need.
